INDEPENDENT LICENSED ONLY / Job ID: 2651 $700K Earnings, Guaranteed Income for First 3 Months, 80/20 Split, Opening Late 2026 to Early 2027 Job Details: Our client in Abbotsford, British Columbia is looking for full-time Family Physicians to join their Family Practice/Walk-in clinic, that is undergoing renovation and will be fully opening from December 2026 to March 2027. The clinic’s mission is to provide high quality, safe, and patient centered care through a collaborative, multidisciplinary model, with a broad range of medical services conveniently available under one roof. They are also committed to supporting International Medical Graduates (IMGS) who are seeking to work and build their careers and settle in Canada, with guidance and support throughout the recruitment and licensing process. The incoming Family Physicians will provide continuity of care for a mix-ethnic population. Any additional skills such as addiction services, obesity clinic, pain management qualifications and aesthetic medicine, etc will be appreciated.  The clinic uses Med Access EMR, and offers billing support. The clinic uses the Longitudinal Family Practice Model, but if the physician prefers, Fee for Service can be opted for by the individual clinician, split arrangement is 80/20, but the split can be discussed and negotiated depending on clinician preference, and the range of potential full-time annual earnings is $500,00-$700,000. Incentives Available to the Physician: Guaranteed income for the first 3 months will be provided if a physician is committing to full time for 2 years. Clinic Details: The clinic is new, modern and GP oriented with emphasis on AI technology. It has the potential to provide a wide range of aesthetic procedures. The facility has an attached pharmacy for convenient patient access and offers free parking and will employ a nurse to offer support in clinic and minor surgery clinics. The clinic is currently undergoing renovation with plans to build a full-fledge Dermatology centre with emphasis on aesthetic medicine and cosmetic dermatology. Clinic hours are 8am-6pm Monday to Saturday. There is 1 Family Physician, Internist, Pediatrician, Gynecologist, Endoscopist and Rheumatologist currently working at the clinic.  The clinic is located in a relatively urban, established part of Abbotsford West, with a significant apartment/condominium component. The area has a high household income and a population that is growing at 8.6% with 28.6% immigrants. A substantial population is Punjabi speaking. There is good presence of South Asian/ International grocery presence that sells Halal food products.  There is also a wide selection of restaurants near the clinic. Abbotsford is a city in the Fraser Valley of the Lower Mainland of BC. It is positioned right along the Canadian-US Border to the South, and Greater Vancouver to the West. It is known as the city within the countryside and has very mild weather compared to other parts of Canada, with very little snowfall throughout most of the year. It is the largest municipality in BC, outside of Metro Vancouver, with a population of 142,000 people, and has more affordable housing options than many communities in Greater Vancouver. Abbotsford is about an hour from Downtown Vancouver, with other parts of BC within commutable distance. The incoming physician should have experience in managing diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and complex endocrine disorders. They should have a cheerful, positive, and collaborative attitude, ability to work effectively with others, and independently. Have strong communication skills and a compassionate, patient-centered approach with a commitment to best practices and provide the best possible care for their patients, treating each one with respect, dignity and kindness.
